MEET THE FOUNDERS

ELY COLE

PARTNER

Israel  

Ely Cole is a qualified US CPA. He holds an MBA from Ben Gurion University and a BS in accounting and economics from University of Maryland. Before moving to Israel, Ely worked as a tax accountant at Ernst and Young in NYC where his focus was on high net wealth individual returns.

He then worked as a controller at GE before coming to the realization that he preferred to work on individual and corporate taxes and made the switch. At Cole & Waxman, Ely excels at maintaining the highest level of professionalism while never forgetting the human element. Ely currently lives in Jerusalem with his wife and two children.

David Waxman is an IRS enrolled agent. He graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in mathematics and worked in the insurance industry for a few years. David moved to Israel in 1993, and spent some time working in high tech.

In 2003, David saw the cloud of confusion that surrounded tax filing for dual citizens; and founded Cole & Waxman. David is father to 3 children, and enjoys running marathons and working out at CrossFit.
